About

I am an experienced, New York State licensed, clinical psychologist in full time private practice in midtown Manhattan. Previously, I was a Supervising Psychologist at the St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital Center for Intensive Treatment of Personality Disorders (CITPD) before joining the Personality Studies Institute, a specialized private practice, psychotherapy training, and research group founded by Dr. Otto Kernberg, pioneering founder of Transference Focused Psychotherapy (TFP) for treatment of personality disorder. I offer integrative psychotherapy, incorporating several modes of treatment, including: contemporary psychodynamic, TFP, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), attachment, and humanistic models. Special emphasis is placed on the relationship between therapist and client as a central curative factor. I am a generalist practitioner and am competent to treat most forms of mental illness and emotional adjustment issues. I currently offer psychotherapy, family consultation, diagnostic evaluation, and private supervision and training to psychotherapists in advanced training. I have also worked extensively with the Orthodox Jewish clientele in NYC and am culturally competent with the diverse frum communities.
